Visitors

Safety remains a top priority across Marquardt School District 15. Marquardt School district 15 is pleased to announce that we use a security system, called Raptor Technologies, to strengthen our safety measures for students and staff. Part of keeping students and faculty safe is knowing who is in our buildings at all times, and the Raptor system will allow us to do that. The Raptor system will better allow us to track visitors, contractors, and volunteers in our schools.

All visitors will now be asked to present an ID, which may be scanned or manually entered into the system. If a parent or guardian does not have a US government-issued ID, the school staff member can ask to see another form of official photo identification:

  • State‐Issued ID
  • U.S. Military ID
  • U.S. Passport
  • Permanent Resident Card

The Raptor system checks to ensure that registered sex offenders are not entering our buildings. The Raptor system only checks the visitor's name and date of birth for comparison with a national database of registered sex offenders. No other data from the ID is gathered or recorded. The system is not connected to any other database such as the Department of Motor Vehicles, and information is not shared with any outside agency. Once entry is approved, Raptor issues a badge that identifies the visitor, the date, and the purpose of his/her visit.

To learn more about the Raptor visitor management system, please visit the Raptor Technologies website (https://raptortech.com/protect-your-school/raptor-visitor-management-system/). We have also attached a helpful FAQ document for MSD15 parents/guardians. If you have any questions, please contact your building Principal.
