Summer School

Registration for Summer School 2025 

Summer School Dates: June 2nd - June 26th
No attendance on June 19th 

 

Session 1: 8:30am - 10:00am 
Session 2: 10:15am - 11:45am 
Sports Camp: 12:00pm - 2:00pm 

Location: Marquardt Middle School 

Summer school will be available to current MSD15 students in grades K-7 based on teacher recommendation. Course offerings will include math and reading skill building. 

There will be no fee for Summer School classes this year, however, we ask that you do not sign up unless you can commit to being in attendance at least 16 of the 18 class dates.

Breakfast and light lunch will be provided for all students. Snacks will be provided for students staying for Sports Camps.

Buses are provided to all in-district students, not located within walking distance of Marquardt Middle School. There will be no bus transportation between sessions. Families will need to provide transportation between Session 1 and Session 2 if student is not attending for a full day. 

Scheduling
  • All students are highly encouraged to take both the 8:30am and the 10:15am classes as busing will not be provided between sessions. 
  • Current Grade 4-7 Sports Camps – Buses will be provided to students who stay for Sports Camps, however, should your child choose to only register for a Sports Camp there will be no bus service arriving at Marquardt at 12pm. 
  • Parents may choose to provide transportation if their child is attending summer school/sports camp for part of the day. 
  • Students without a course MAY NOT be on school grounds.

Summer Academy for Integrated Language Learning (SAIL)

Give your child a head start this summer with the SAIL program! Designed for newcomer students and those developing their English skills, SAIL offers a fun and supportive environment to strengthen listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Our four-week program runs June 2–26, Monday through Friday, from 8:30–11:45 a.m. Students will enjoy engaging lessons, breakfast, and a midday snack each day. Free bus transportation is available for those who qualify. Don’t miss this opportunity to help your child grow in confidence and get ready for the next school year! Band & Orchestra Camp (Grades 4-7)

                Date: July 7th - July 18th  
 
Have fun playing your Band or Orchestra instrument this summer. Play new  music, practice fundamentals, do some ear training, learn new techniques, and have fun making music with friends.
 
Advanced - Must have completed at least 2 or more years of band.
8:30-10:00 AM
 
Intermediate - Must have completed at least 1 year of band.
10:15-11:45 AM
 
Intermediate Mentor- An advanced student who is registered for Advanced Band. Students are welcome to stay for extra practice and to help Intermediate students.
