Changemakers

A CHANGEMAKER is someone who has dedicated their time to social activism, volunteerism, and the overall mission of making their communities a better place by elevating all voices.  The goal of the event was to highlight the beautiful and diverse tapestry that makes up our District - Leaving Our Mark. A night of entertainment featuring La Escuelita Bombera de Corazon, our Marquardt Middle School Symphonic Band, as well as recognition for five students, two staff members and one community members: Scott Darling, Former MSD15 Employee, and 2015 Chicago Blackhawks Stanley Cup Champion. Our Changemakers speak to an audience about their personal stories and journeys, inspiring us all to be Changemakers here in our local communities.

Changemakers, which commenced in 2024, honors those who have distinguished themselves through notable achievements or service.
